You-for-You (U4U) Teen Trail
U4U is an interactive health education initiative of the Commission on Population and Development (CPD), supported by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA). Launched in 2014, U4U has since reached over two million young Filipinos with critical information about the prevention of teen pregnancy and protection from sexually transmitted infections (STI).
The U4U Teen Trail helps young peer educators in schools and communities bring engaging messages about self-respect, responsible romantic relationships, delaying sexual debut, and preventing early pregnancy and STI. Online and social media applications and audio-visual tools complement face-to-face interactions. In 2015, the Public Relations Society of the Philippines awarded U4U with its highest honor, the Grand Anvil, for being the best communication program in the country.
Television and film celebrity Miguel Tan Felix was U4U Ambassador in 2015. Then age 16, Miguel went to schools and communities in Metro Manila to talk to young people like him about being managing romantic relationships responsibly.
